Applications:

Treatment recommendations 

For very large fractures, QWIK-SEAL (coarse) is recommended. It  should  be  used  with  an open-ended drill pipe or an open-water course bit opposite the loss zone. There is usually no need to use more than 30 to 40 parts per billion (85 to 114 kg/m3) of product in a slug.

A medium-sized QWIK-SEAL seals fractures and porous areas. The concentration should be between 10 and 15 ppb (26 to 43 kg/m3) when using jet bits.

Sealing porous formations and fine fractures with QWIK-SEAL (fine) is recommended as a preventive measure. There is a recommendation for a concentration between 3 and 6 ppb (8.5 to 17 kg/m3). The plug won’t get stuck
