Cellulose Fiber (Fibroseal)

Fibro Seal LCM

Using fiberous LCM eliminates and prevents lost circulation problems by using micronized cellulose fibers. Fluids can be used locally to seal depleted sands, prevent fluid invasion, and stabilize shale in water- and oil-based mud. The product is available in three grades: fine, medium, and coarse.

You can use fiber lock Medium or Coarse Grade as an additive to combat lost circulation problems.

It penetrates into the wall cake and forms an impermeable thin skin on the filter bed, preventing fluid from entering the formation.

Common Name:  CELLULOSE FIBER

Description

Noyer Overseas is fibroseal manufacturer from India give cellulose fiber, fiber is a superior plugging agent used to bridge and seal permeable formations in water oil or synthetic base mud systems.

Properties :

Physical appearance :                                                   Tan to light brown powder

Bulk density                :                                                  22-32 lb/ft3(352-513/kg/m3)

Advantages :

  • Easily mixed and dispersed into the mud system.
  • Easily passes through most shaker screens.
  • Compatible with all mud systems and other lost-circulation materials.
  • Inert material with minimum effect on mud properties.
  • This product minimizes torque and drag, seals micro fractures, and controls lost circulation.
  • Shales that are sensitive to it are inhibited from hydrating
  • A stuck pipe can be prevented by it
  • Sand formations that are unconsolidated are stabilized by it
  • Marine ecosystems do not find it toxic.
  • The fluid is compatible with most drilling fluids
  • In the case of mud and fluids, it prevents or reduces the loss through seepage.

Application:

  • Cellulose fiber is compatible with all mud systems and can be used in combination with all mud systems and can be used in combination with other lost circulation materials, including nut plug, mica, sized calcium carbonate, gilsonite, etc
  • Fibroseal manufacturer from India cellulose fiber is designed to bridge and seal permeable formations, reducing the possibility of stuck pipe, controlling lost circulation, and providing filtration control.
  • Significant quantities of the medium and coarse grades will be removed by line mesh shale shaker screens.
  • A fibrous LCM designed to prevent circulation loss due to cracks or fissures. Shale, coal, and unconsolidated sand are among the formations it can be used to drill into. It is non-destructive and can be used in a range of situations. Due to their strength and resilience, fibres won’t easily disintegrate.
  • Besides preventing differential sticking between drill strings and casing by sealing depleted sand, it also helps seal high permeability sands where substantial seepage loss is present.

Limitations:

  • Can be removed from circulating materials by shale shakers and solids control equipment, especially when using the medium and coarse grades with fine mesh screens which require close monitoring of shale shakers.
  • Absorbs a small quantity of liquid when added to a mud system and can elevate flow properties when used at very high concentrations.
  • Treatment with additional wetting agents may be required in low stability or lightly treated oil-base muds because of the high surface area of this slightly absorbing material.

Toxicity and handling :

  • MSDS information is available upon request.
  • Dust can form an explosive mixture in the air. keep away from open flames or other sources of ignition.
  • Handle as an industrial chemical, wearing protective equipment and observing material.

Packaging and storage :

  • Cellulose fiber is packaged in 25-lb, 50-lb, and pp liner bags.
  • Store in a dry, well-ventilated area. Keep the container closed. Store away from incompatibles. follow safe warehousing practices regarding palletizing, banding, shrink-wrapping, and/or stacking.
